Dim Roasters

The history of the Dintakis Coffee Roastery began in 1998 in Arkalochori, Crete, when we established a traditional coffee roastery with a vision: to offer our customers top-quality coffee and exceptional service. From day one, our philosophy has been rooted in a love for coffee, tradition, and continuous improvement.

In 2000, taking a significant step forward, we founded the group “Specialty Coffee Roasters of Crete” (Harmania) together with five other experienced coffee roasters. Through this collaboration, we created premium-quality coffees for every taste: Greek, filter, and espresso. Our goal was to highlight the characteristics of each bean, combining traditional techniques with modern knowledge.

In 2010, our ongoing quest for the perfect coffee led us to open a new, modern store featuring a wider variety of products and innovative equipment. In 2015, we completely upgraded our facilities by investing in third-generation machines. This allowed us to roast with absolute precision and bring out the flavor, aroma, and unique characteristics of the coffee.

Today, at our certified processing facility, every step of the process is carefully monitored. Our coffee is ground using traditional methods and packaged in airtight bags filled with inert gases to preserve its aroma and freshness.

Our innovation doesn’t stop there. Our Dim Coffee Speciality line showcases high-quality coffees tailored to the needs of coffee lovers who want to explore unique aromas and flavors. We are a micro roastery, sourcing green coffee through direct trade from producers. This strategy allows us to ensure maximum quality control and build a relationship of trust between producer, roaster, and barista.
